Happy New Year!
That's what every single person screams on every January 1st. Dreamers would aspire to be new, new goals, but this time ... they will do it. They will get in shape, they will get richer, they will be smarter ... or at least that's what they hope every new year.
This approach to a new year is good, however, why can't we apply it to every "tomorrow"?
You don't need a new year to change, you just need another tomorrow. Think of this, imagine you are in December 31st of whatever year it is currently. Now, what goals do you have, what would you want? Done thinking? Write it down. And just change one thing ... for the start date, instead of "Jan 1st" change it to today's date.
The false perception of "new year, new me" is also dangerous. Many individuals will assume once they are off-track, or failed their goals, they are done with it. This is purely wrong. If you are failing, you're better than those who doesn't fail. They are the ones that won't achieve anything. The more failures you have, it shows you did try, and you continued.
This doesn't necessarily mean to not be happy with a new year, it means to be happy with new days you have.
Happy New Year!
